Our two November guest speakers came in period appropriate clothing as bateau owners that ferried Revolutionary soldiers, cannons, ammunition and horses across the Delaware River for the Battle of Trenton.

The Morristown Chapter provided Braille flags to the entire graduating class of The Seeing Eye on June 9, 2026. This is the second year we have partnered with The Seeing Eye to provide these flags.
The Morristown Chapter DAR Flag Committee created these displays in local libraries. Displays were in Bridgewater, Denville, Harding, Morris Plains, Morristown and Randolph New Jersey libraries.
The Morristown chapter DAR has marked the country’s 250th anniversary by purchasing these Revolutionary War veterans banners which are all hung around The Morristown Green. These banners were sponsored by our Chapter members who are descendants of these local 18th-century patriots.
